Let me bring you up to date on the latest.

USDA FUNDS ARE RUNNING LOW FOR THE 100% PROGRAM
Hopefully, if you've been following this blog, you're very aware that Congress Has NOT funded the USDA program.

THe USDA Program is designed to help low to middle income borrowers purchase a home with no down payment.

Congress obviously feels that this is about as important as extending the flood insurance. Congress was supposed to take up this matter April 12th, when they came back from session, and as of today, I have not been able to find any action, which may mean delays in people buying a home.  Anyway, I degress.

There is no certainty or guarantee that the 100% program will survive the next two months.  I was looking at the money available for the program, and in the period of time from April 1st to yesterday, April 19th, USDA used up 1.2 Billion and only have 1.6 Billion left. If you haven't gotten your guarantee letter from USDA, you MUST get those guaranteed funds now!

Along with that, you also MUST have a home under contract by April 30th, and close by May 30th to secure your 8,000 tax credit.

This is not a time to procastinate! The time to move on this is now.
